Weekly Bulletin

Undaunted by the rain, Ian White, member of St Cuthbert’s Elsdon
arrives for lunch at St Cuthbert’s Corsenside, having completed the first part
of the annual St Cuthbert Pilgrimage.

11.00 am: Parish Communion, St John the Evangelist Otterburn

6.00 pm: Choral Evensong at St Cuthbert, Bellingham.
The music will be led by ‘Antiphon’,  
and the preacher is
The Very Reverend Michael Sadgrove,
author of many books including ‘Landscapes of Faith’ which includes descriptions and photographs of North East Churches, including some from our Team Parish

7.30 pm:   Elsdon Projects in the Community (EPIC)
Elsdon Village Hall.
Main item on the agenda - review of the Village Fete

Tuesday 6th September
7.30 pm: Otterburn Parish Council

Wednesday 7th September
10.00 am: Holy Communion, St John’s Otterburn
3.00 pm: Home Communions in Otterburn and Byrness

Thursday 8th September
7.30 pm: Elsdon Parish Council, Village Hall

Saturday 10th September
11.00 am - 3.00 pm
Holy Trinity Horsley
Exhibition and talks on the church history
and organ restoration project.

“View and listen to a Nelson Organ (undergoing restoration) with a fascinating history. Volunteers will be on hand to talk about the restoration process.
Play our specially commissioned model organ
to find out how an organ works.
Exhibition about the history of the organ and its restoration.
Also includes the history of the church and its connections with the Mitford family and the 'Fabulous Mitford sisters'.
Tour and talk around the church.”
